Frequently Asked Questions

What do campers receive at camp?

All campers attending one of our residential sites will receive:

  • 4 official camp shirts (one per day, featuring the camp logo and daily theme)

  • WASA Camp backpack

  • Camp soccer ball

  • Camp water bottle

What is the phone policy?

Campers are welcome to bring a mobile phone. Phones may be used during the evenings to connect with family. Throughout the day, our coaches and camp directors encourage campers to disconnect from their phones and fully engage in training, activities, and meaningful conversations with teammates and staff.

Do campers receive evaluations?

Yes. At our Residential Camp, each player receives an honest and detailed written evaluation from their coach. Evaluations highlight both strengths and areas for development.
In addition, campers receive leadership resources and a personality/athletic style assessment designed to support teamwork and our Life Pillar approach.

Does the camp provide education on college recruitment?

Yes. Campers benefit from our College Recruiting Panel Discussion, featuring current and former college coaches who share valuable insight into the college recruiting process and the opportunities available to women in college soccer.

How much spending money should campers bring?

We recommend $25–$30. Please note that there is no camp bank, and campers are responsible for their own money.
Vending machines are available in the dorms and accept cash, credit cards, and Apple Pay. Campers will also have the opportunity to order pizza for an evening snack on one night of camp.

Can parents and coaches attend sessions?

Yes. All sessions are open, and parents and coaches are welcome to attend.
